Any and all personal information collected by A-Family Budget Counseling, Inc. (AFBC) will be kept personal and confidential. Information collected will be used strictly for the purpose of Credit Counseling and Debt Education. When you request the assistance of AFBC you are asking our organization to act as a third party on your behalf for the purpose of negotiating an amicable pay back arrangement between you and your creditors.

What information is collected?

AFBC gathers nonpublic personal information from the following sources:
-Information filled out on applicant enrollment forms or other documents that is required to be completed prior to your enrollment onto DMP.
-Face to face conversations, telephone calls, facsimile transmissions, or e-mail.

Is my information protected?

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard nonpublic personal information. This information will be used strictly for the purpose of the continuance of a Debt Management Plan and will NOT be sold, or transferred to any individual, business, or entity for any purpose other than the ones stated above.

Limited access is given to nonpublic personal information to employees who need to access that information to provide assistance for you.
